FBC GracePoint Church began in 1866 with ten founding members. First known as Conwayboro Church, the congregation met in the Conwayboro Schoolhouse before establishing a home on the land where our church stands today. Over the years, the church became known as Conway Baptist Church and later First Baptist Church of Conway.
As the congregation grew, so did its ministry. The church dedicated its first brick building in 1911, completed its current sanctuary in 1951, helped plant several churches in the Conway area, and served families through education and child care. In 2024, First Baptist Conway became FBC GracePoint Church. Our name has changed, but we remain grateful for the generations who came before us and committed to helping people find and follow Jesus.
