YOUTH & YOUNG ADULT PASTOR/DIRECTOR

FBC GracePoint is looking for a builder.
We are searching for a Youth & Young Adult Pastor/Director who is passionate about reaching the next generation and excited about casting vision, rallying people, developing leaders, and building a ministry that students and young adults want to be part of.
We are not looking for someone simply to maintain programs. We want a leader who sees potential, creates momentum, develops people, and wants to build something great.
Our mission at FBC GracePoint is to help people find and follow Jesus, and we believe ministry to students and young adults is a significant part of that mission.
The Opportunity:
The primary focus of this position is to lead and build our middle and high school ministry. We want someone who can create strong ministry environments, reach new students, develop a great volunteer team, disciple students, and help build a culture students are excited to be part of and invite their friends into.
We also have an existing group of young adults and a great space for that ministry to grow. We are looking for someone who can bring vision and leadership to help it become more than a Sunday School class. We want to see a real young adult ministry develop through community, hangouts, meals, friendships, discipleship, serving, outreach, and opportunities to invite others in.
This is not a role for someone who wants to do everything personally. We want someone who knows how to rally people, build teams, and develop leaders who can help carry the ministry forward.

What You’ll Lead:
• Build and lead middle and high school ministry.
• Recruit, develop, and lead volunteers.
• Create environments that reach and disciple students.
• Provide biblical teaching and spiritual leadership.
• Partner with parents and develop student leaders.
• Provide vision and leadership for our existing young adult community.
Who We’re Looking For…
We are looking for someone who loves Jesus, loves students and young adults, and gets energized by building rather than simply maintaining.
The ideal candidate is relational, creative, organized, dependable, able to cast vision, and capable of turning ideas into reality. They should be able to recruit and develop people, communicate Scripture clearly, take initiative, and work well as part of a team.
A bachelor’s degree is required, and previous ministry leadership experience is preferred.
